In January of 2025, Stratus asked over 1,000 Canadian farmers about the many challenges they face.

One of the biggest issues is new trade barriers – A concern of over 80% of farmers.

When asked what the government should do about it, the top suggestions were:

•Make agriculture a higher priority

•Develop trade outside the USA

•Eliminate tariffs on EV cars from China

•Promote free trade

•Negotiate, not retaliate
