Stratus asked over 1100 farmers about practices to improve sustainability.
We examined fourteen practices, such as using biological products, reducing fertilizer rates, and intercropping. For each practice, we measured its importance, adoption rate, and extent of implementation across the farm. The results were compared between regenerative and conventional farmers.
Nearly 40% of US farmers describe themselves as “Regenerative Farmers” meaning they use novel farming practices that minimize environmental impact.
