How Ag Retailers Gain Influence on Crop Protection Decisions

We asked 800 farmers about the services they receive from their ag retailer. The analysis clearly shows how retailers have more influence when they deliver more service.

Nearly two-thirds of farmers with 6+ services from their main retailer say that the retailer has a strong influence on their crop protection decisions.

The impact of services vary a lot. Field scouting, product performance comparisons, cost comparisons and crop planning services have the most impact on the retailer’s ability to influence  customers.
