In January of 2025, Stratus asked over 800 U.S. farmers about the many challenges they face.

One of the biggest issues is new trade barriers – A concern of over 70% of farmers.

Farmers did not agree on what the government should do about it. The top suggestions were:

•Use tariffs to negotiate better trade deals

•Promote free trade, eliminate tariffs

•Tariffs hurt farmers, end them soon

•Provide financial support to farmers

•Reduce regulations to make U.S. production more competitive
